Question:
Hi, could we please clarify the following: 1. WHS Accreditation Scheme (Cl. 11I / Prelims 4.11)

As the Works do not appear to be Australian Government funded building work, please confirm that clause 11I and the accreditation requirement in General Preliminaries clause 4.11 do not apply.

2. QBCC licence (Cl. 11D.2 / Item 22C)

As the scope is road repair and maintenance, including associated road drainage, which is excluded from 'building work' under Schedule 1 of the QBCC Regulation 2018, please confirm a QBCC licence is not required and Item 22C may be recorded as 'N/A'.

Answered on 21/Oct/2026 01:52 PM:

Good afternoon,

Please see responses as follows:

1. The Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme referenced in Clause 11I does not apply, as the works are not federally funded.

2. As the works are limited to mill, road resurface and kerb and channel works, JCU confirm QBCC Licence requirements do not apply. Contract Annexure Part A, Item 22C shall be amended to ‘Not applicable’.

Thanks,

Hayley.
