What the buyer is requesting

Details

Mildura Rural City Council (MRCC)is seeking Tender responses from suitably qualified individuals and organisations to provide the collection, transport, and processing of electronic waste (e-waste) from MRCC’s Mildura and Ouyen transfer station sites.

E-waste is defined as any electrical or electronic equipment that has reached end of life, including any item with an electrical cord or a battery. Since 1 July 2019, the Victorian Government has banned all e-waste from landfills, requiring that these items be collected separately and sent for appropriate recycling and resource recovery.

Important: This tender does not include white goods (refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, etc.) as Council has an existing arrangement with a local provider for the collection and recycling of these items.

SUBMISSIONS: Completed responses can ONLY be submitted electronically by uploading into the VendorPanel System. Respondents will receive a confirmation email response upon completion. Submissions must be fully received by the closing time as late submissions will not be accepted. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. All responses must be made by online submission. Any response made by any other means (open email, facsimile, post or in person) will not be considered.
