Question
:
Calculating attendance/travel fee?
for example we get a work order to repair water leak behind kitchen sink in Collinsville.
We may require Plumber, Carpenter and Electrician to disconect, repair and reinstall.
There are limited subcontractors in this area and most will travel from Bowen.
How does the Builder enter this into the price schedule when each trade will require travel/attendance costs?
Answered on 09/Mar/2026 02:13 PM
:
Thank you for your query regarding how to enter attendance and travel fees into the price schedule for works requiring multiple trades.
To clarify, we will accept one attendance/travel fee only, regardless of the number of trades involved in completing the work order. This fee is considered part of the builder’s responsibility, and it should be incorporated accordingly into the overall pricing.
Kind regards.
