This Trades Panel is focused on reactive/ad-hoc maintenance works that would use your submitted Schedule of Rates pricing. Any preventative maintenance works and/or larger projects will be managed separately through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) process

Is Kitchen , Laundry , Bathroom Renovation, Carpentry, Gardening and lawnmowing are part of the tender ?

Kitchen, laundry and bathroom renovations, along with lawn mowing services, are not included in this ad-hoc services panel.

Carpentry works are included under Item 2a of the Schedule of Rates.

There is no mandatory site inspection, as outlined in Section 1.2.2 of the RFT documentation.

Hi, We provide Roof Repair (Tiles and Metal), Roof Gutter cleaning, High Pressure Cleaning and Graffiti removal. Are any of these services part of this?

Gutter cleaning and pressure cleaning are included within this General Maintenance panel. Roof leak repairs are covered under the Plumbing Schedule of Rates panel rather than the General Maintenance panel. Graffiti removal is excluded.

Yes you may submit pricing for only the service categories you wish to provide. Please note though, that submissions will be evaluated as a whole, including the schedule rates submitted, the range of services offered and compliance with all other RFT requirements.

The tender seems to be asking for ad-hoc handman services rates as well as a handful of specific skilled trade rates (e.g. for carpentry). However the pricing schedule uses terms that are not specific or possibly in duplicate to other roles.

Please clarify:

1. What do you mean by “Core business” labour rate?

2. How does “Core business” differ to “Tradesperson” labour rate and what trade do you mean by tradesperson?

3. How does “Core business” differ to Handyperson?

4. How does “Core business” differ to Carpenter?

Core business labour rate refers to the contractor's standard hourly labour rate during normal business hours (Monday to Friday). The Tradesperson labour rate would more apply to a specialist trade skill that may be required to undertake the works. Handyperson / minor works day rate is to accommodate larger minor work tasks that might not suit hourly pricing. Carpentry works relates specifically to carpentry services, such as repairs to doors, frames, joinery, cabinetry. While these rates may be the same for some contractors, they are listed separately as different organisations may apply varying labour classifications and pricing structures across service categories.
