Question:
Could the department please clarify the required pricing basis for Connecting Kin (T210) and Equipping Kin (T211) in the supplier response form?

We would appreciate confirmation of what is meant by the “single priced unit” field, and whether pricing is intended to be submitted as:

one fixed price for delivery of the service,

an annual price,

a rate per family/participant, or

another defined pricing unit.

If applicable, please also confirm whether the pricing unit differs between T210 and T211.

This clarification will assist us to ensure our commercial response is aligned with the department’s intended pricing format.

Answered on 08/Sep/2026 12:35 PM:

Suppliers are required to complete Attachment A – Financial Plan and demonstrate how the available funding will be utilised to deliver the required outputs and outcomes for Connecting Kin (T210) and Equipping Kin (T211).

For clarity:

• Connecting Kin (T210) is funded to deliver 8,760 hours of case management per annum.

• Equipping Kin (T211) is funded to deliver 410 Provisionally Approved/Initial Kinship Assessments per annum.

Suppliers should complete the Financial Plan based on the funding and unit costs provided in Attachment A. The Financial Plan will be assessed as part of Evaluation Criterion 5 – Model and Cost Effectiveness.

For further information regarding deliverables, outputs and reporting requirements for T210 and T211, suppliers should refer to the Family Based Care Services Investment Specification, particularly Section 9 – Deliverables and Performance Measures.
