Details
Racing Queensland (RQ) is seeking offers from suitably experienced Suppliers for the provision of Design and Construction of Barrier and Storage Shed at Barcoo Amateur Race Club.

The successful Tenderer will be engaged via Racing Queensland’s Design and Works agreement to complete the works.

Q4) Where is the storage parking bay?

A4) Please refer to document 2. Scope of Works in the tender pack Appendix B - Indicative Design Details (page 9). The shed is 24m x 12m overall (288 m2).

Q5) What are the dimensions of this area for parking and road base?

A5) Storage area slab to be section 12m x 6m (72m2) - bottom right hand corner where mower & dozer are pictured. Remaining areas to be compacted road base of 216 m2 (bottom left corner and top section). Sizes are approximates.

1) Just need clarification on size of water tank required and if any pumps etc are to be allowed for ?

2) Also site location details if any fill etc is required to lift the pad height at all ?

3) Is Insulation to roof required

Please see answers below to your questions:

Q1) Just need clarification on size of water tank required and if any pumps etc are to be allowed for?

A1) Water Tank of min size : 5000lt. No pumps required (tap only).

Q2) Also site location details if any fill etc is required to lift the pad height at all?

A2) Road base pad of min: 150mm to 200mm compacted finish to be installed prior to installation of piers/ footings and slab.

Q3) Is Insulation to roof required?

A3) Insulation is not required.

A6) Electrical will be performed at a later date by others. The only plumbing is the rain collection tank with a tap fitted.
