The Shire of Banana is a local government area located in the Capricorn region of Queensland, Australia, inland from the regional city of Gladstone. The shire was named after the first township in the region, which in turn was named for the burial site of a huge dun coloured bullock named 'Banana'.

Banana Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to tenders on the air conditioner servicing, RCD, and cold room maintenance for all the council's own offices and its service area or property and more detailed information described in its scope of work (Part-5).

Works are expected to commence from January 2027. Successful tenderers will be awarded status for an initial twenty-four (24) months, with Council reserving the option to extend the arrangement for a further twelve (12) months at its discretion.

Award contractor may also submit updated schedules of rates and pricing, including adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) or other approved cost increases, for Council’s consideration as part of the annual panel review
