The Whitsunday Region is a local government area located in North Queensland, Australia. Established in 2008, it was preceded by two previous local government areas with a history extending back to the establishment of regional local government in Queensland in 1879.

Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) is seeking submissions for the supply and delivery of One (1) 4x2 Street Sweeper Road Maintenance Truck and appropriate accessories as specified.

This vehicle is used for the maintenance of Council’s region network of roads at varied work sites around the Whitsunday region and surrounding remote areas working on paved surfaces. The machine must be capable of sweeping & cleaning various environments with various alternating terrain and areas.

Council is holding an Inspection Opportunity for the Trade-in vehicle to be inspected. The location for the inspection is Council’s Proserpine Works Depot, 30 Faust Street, Proserpine Qld 4800.

Date and Time: Wednesday, 23rd September 2026 Between 11.30am and 12.30pm.

N.B. PPE is a requirement to attend this site, at a minimum Hi-Vis shirt/vest and enclosed shoes, it is also recommended to wear sun protection.
