Details
Clarence City Council invites Tenders from Tenderers for the cleaning of public toilets, picnic tables, BBQs and rubbish bin surrounds throughout the City of Clarence.

Clarence City Council maintains 32 public toilet sites, 21 picnic table sites, 18 public BBQ sites and approximately 238 rubbish bin surrounds. This tender pertains to the cleaning of each site.

Submissions and questions received through email will not be accepted. All communication is to be through Vendor Panel only.

PRE-TENDER SITE MEETING

A pre-tender site meeting will not be carried out.

All locations are publicly accessible and are available for viewing should potential respondents require.

A photo package has been compiled and supplied for each public toilet.

Council staff are available to answer any questions posed through Vendor Panel relating to the facilities.

Just want to confirm there is no current contract in place for sanitation bins and the succesful contractor has to supply the sanitation bins and charge per service ?

Good Morning,

The current contract for cleaning of the public toilets, picnic tables and BBQ's includes the supply and service of sanitary bins. This new contract will operate in the same manner with the new contractor supplying and servicing the new sanitary bins.

Question:
Hi team,

As per the scope of works for all Toilet must be serviced between midnight and 8am and the picnic tables and BBQ's are list as in close proximity and should be cleaned at the same time.

Can these times be changed to during daylight hours 7.30am -5.30pm with consideration given to the toilets that need an additional service daily.

A change to this time will provide a far better outcome and improved safety for our staff if successful.

Could you please confirm this change.

Good Morning,

At this stage council will not be amending the cleaning times listed in the contract to this extent.

This is due to a number of factors including but not limited to:

- General public expectations

- increased risk during daylight hours when driving in parks/reserves

- Increased costs/time related delays when toilets/tables/BBQ's are more heavily utilised in daylight hours
