Question
:
Good morning,
The summary page for the BoQ references 3 x pricing options for Old Alford Road, yet there is only 1 x pricing tab include in the pricing schedule for this portion of the works. Can you please advise if this is an error in the summary page.
Answered on 08/Sep/2025 09:26 AM
:
All 3 options for Old Mt Alford Road are included in the same tab and labelled in column B as 1800805 or OPT 1 or Opt 2. The summary sheet will sum cells H12:H34 for the main project (1800805), H37:H43 for Option 01, and H46:H49 for Option 02

Question
:
Can council please clarify whether the quantities for the spray seal lines on Old Mt Alford Rd are correct? There is 6,426m2 of insitu stabilisation to complete, with an additional 1020m2 of provisional insitu stabilisation, however the only spray seal lines provided on the schedule are for 1800m2 of primerseal and D/D spray seal.
Please confirm if we are meant to be spray sealing the full stabilised area or if we are to seal only 1800m2.
Answered on 09/Sep/2025 03:25 PM
:
The seal item is provisional if ordered only if directed by Council and if ordered will only be for part of the stabilised area.
09/Sep/2025 04:07 PM
Question
:
Is it mandatory to price all options for Old Mt French Rd? Or is the contractor able to provide one of the options only?
Answered on 10/Sep/2025 11:10 AM
:
No, it is not mandatory to price all options. Tenderers may price one option only.
10/Sep/2025 11:29 AM
Question
:
For option 3 on Mt French Rd the pricing schedule quantifies 2025m2 to be milled to 200mm depth, then 150mm of plant-mixed stabilised pavement to be placed, with the remaining 50mm to be a medium duty asphalt. This is all logical however in schedule item 41701 there is reference to "Full width profile to a depth of 50mm and dispose of material off site" which would not be required because we have placed the stabilised pavement to the correct height for AC surfacing to be applied directly to this layer.
Can you please clarify if we are to price this 50mm of profiling or if this was included in error?
Answered on 10/Sep/2025 11:57 AM
:
• Item 41701 Preparation of existing surface - Full width profile to a depth of 50mm and dispose of material off site has been included in error.
• Tenderers should change the quantity for this item to 0 in their Pricing Schedule response.
• This item will not be included in the price for tender evaluation.
