Details
The State of Queensland through the Director General, Department of Housing and Public Works (Customer) is seeking to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for the provision of assessing, identifying, monitoring and providing advisory services on the safe management and/or rectification of physical, chemical, biological and/or environmental hazards across Queensland, and hereby invites you to submit an SOA Offer for:

Background information / Compatibility requirements
Details
As this SOA is significantly different to what QBuild currently has in place and to ensure the success of the SOA, the Customer has issued the invitation with a longer tender period to allow for document changes to be made based on industry feedback (where applicable). The following process will be undertaken:

1. Publish a set of initial DRAFT documents for review and feedback by potential offerors

2. Publish industry briefing session via addendum on VendorPanel to discuss the documents and how the SOA is to work

3. Offerors can provide feedback and comments on the DRAFT documents

4. The Customer will make amendments to the DRAFT documents (where required)

5. The Customer will publish a FINAL set of invitation documents for Offerors to provide a SOA Offer.

The industry briefing is a PowerPoint presentation which will be uploaded to VendorPanel. We anticipate this being available on VendorPanel tomorrow the 2 April.

As per Addendum No. 03_RFI 4 (Response pasted below), is there an updated timeframe when the FINAL version of the documents will be issued under an additional Addendum?

Due to a high number of feedback items received from industry, the indicative timeframe for publishing the FINAL version of the documents (Wednesday 22 April 2026) will need to be extended. A definitive timeframe cannot be provided at this time however, a further addendum will be published to notify industry of availability of the FINAL documents.

Please clarify if this opportunity is intended to also include consulting services in relation to the storage of Dangerous Goods and associated Hazardous areas.

The documentation is still under review and being updated. As per addendum No 04 issued on 22 May 2026, we will ensure that the industry has sufficient time to review the revised documentation.
