Ipswich is centrally located in the booming south east Queensland region of Australia. To the east is the capital city Brisbane, and to the west are the rural and agricultural areas of the Brisbane, Lockyer and Fassifern Valleys. The city is ideally positioned on the national road network - 40 minutes drive from Brisbane, an hours drive from the Gold Coast and 60 minutes drive from domestic and international air and sea ports.

Council intends to appoint multiple contractors to the panel. Appointment to the panel does not guarantee any minimum volume or value of work.

Panel contractors may be invited to submit quotations for individual work packages that may include, but are not limited to:

• Landscape construction and refurbishment works;

• Park and open space improvements;

• Streetscape enhancement projects;

• Planting, turfing and revegetation works;

• Irrigation installation and modifications;

• Retaining walls and minor civil works associated with landscaping;

• Pathway construction and associated landscaping;

• Garden bed establishment and renewal;

• Environmental rehabilitation and restoration projects; and

• Associated ancillary works.
