Question:
• Can we seek clarification on the $20k penalty applied to the Department Issued NCN notices. Does this relate to all NCN’s issued in relation to screening or only NCN’s that incur a financial penalty?.

• In relation to the provision of the two landside office locations, and parking costs for the screening personnel, can we please ask for the associated costs and are these costs associated able to be recharged back to council or should this be captured in our overall rates?

• This relates to any NCN that has been issued by the department if a significant failing has occurred in the review process. Would be on a case-by-case basis, with previous events taken into account and performance of screening point during previous surveillance events.

• Parking is $60.04 (incl.gst) per employee/per month. This is calculated after confirmation from screening manager on number of staff before invoice is issued.

At this stage Council doesn't charge for the 2 rooms, however if Council did start to charge this would be back charged by the contractor to Council.

FYI proposed charges:

• Site A5 – old DOS office 34m² - $16,150.00 per annum or $1,345.83 per month (excl. gst)

• Site A3 – their current office 16m² - $8,000.00 per annum or $666.66 per month (excl. gst)
