Question
:
After doing numerous car parks in similar tight turning circles and being aware of the temperature range that is experienced at this site, particularly in the summertime - we would like to also submit a price for AC sealing of the car park (previously Termed Option A) because spray seal tends not to have the longevity in such sites where wheel turning is tight - Is this acceptable to SMSC?
Answered on 01/Dec/2025 03:41 PM
:
This is acceptable.
You will need to submit a conforming tender adhering to the given specification and then add this as an option.
01/Dec/2025 03:44 PM
Question
:
As the water tank is located a number of meters away from the building and is to collect rainwater from the roof guttering - does SMSC want the downpipes from the gutters to be suspended in air across the distance on a Catina or have a 'charged pipeline with a flush point' installed where the SW pipe will be increased to sewer grade and travel down the building - across the distance underground and then up to the tank inlet point?
Answered on 03/Dec/2025 12:27 PM
:
For longevity and vandal resistance we would prefer an underground solution.
