The City of Greater Dandenong is located 35km from the Melbourne CBD in the south-east and covers an area of 129 square kilometers. The suburbs that sit within the municipality include Dandenong, Dandenong South, Dandenong North, Keysborough, Lyndhurst, Noble Park, Noble Park North, Springvale and Springvale South.

Greater Dandenong is a culturally diverse community in Melbourne's southeast suburbs with over 150 nationalities calling Greater Dandenong home, making us one of the most diverse municipalities in Victoria. Its estimated population is 167,000 which is expected to grow to 185,000 in the next decade.

The City of Greater Dandenong is seeking the services of a suitable qualified Contractor for revenue collections within the municipality. Tenderers shall include in tender submissions full details of personnel, plant and equipment, and work plan with methodologies and processes, as detailed in Clause 3, to be utilised in the provision of this service. Tenderers shall, prior to submitting the Tender, become acquainted with the nature and extent of the contract and the work to be carried out. Tenderers are to make their own assessment of the works required and base their tenders accordingly.

The scope of service for cash collection includes all labour, materials, plant, equipment, overheads and profit from parking meters located in Greater Dandenong and at Council’s building, Customer Services counters and other nominated locations.

The scope also includes accommodating “change request” requests to enable top up of cash “change request” at Council facilities.

All coin accepting parking meters within Greater Dandenong as detailed within Appendix A. The number of parking meters accepting coins may increase or decrease within the contract term, so schedule of rates-based contract

Customer Service counters are currently located in Parkmore Shopping Centre, Dandenong Civic Centre and Springvale Community Hub. Two other core locations, Jan Wilson Community Centre and the Drum Theatre, also require collection services on a less frequent basis.
