RoadTek are undertaking construction of a retaining wall and noise fence on Lakeside Drive, Oonoonba, Townsville on the behalf of Economic Development Queensland (EDQ). To support this project's delivery, we are seeking offers from suitably capable suppliers to construct the bored piers and install the UB and PFC posts for the retaining wall and noise fence as detailed in the project drawings.

All works and materials shall be in accordance with the project drawings contract schedule and the Retaining Wall and Noise Fence Technical Specification.

Scope of this subcontract works includes:

• Environmental protection of the works during construction including silt & erosion control,

• Supply, installation, and maintenance of sediment control works during construction,

• Auger/Excavate for piers,

• Stockpile excavated material from bored piers on site in RoadTek’s designated area to contain PFAS and Acid Sulfate contaminants. (RoadTek will perform Acid Sulfate Soil treatment as required and will also perform replacement of excavated material on site),

• Installation of sacrificial/temporary liner (Heavy Duty Plastube PVC Liner Class 140FW or approved equivalent),

• Installation of prefabricated reinforcement cages (Cages to be supplied by RoadTek),

• Installation of prefabricated UB/PFC posts (UB and PFC posts to be supplied by RoadTek),

• Supply and Place Concrete to piers (Concrete to be supplied by the subcontractor),

• The Date for Practical Completion of these subcontract works is 22nd August 2026
