Dear Metro North Hospital & Health Service QLD Team,

In preparing our response, we would like to clarify the following points to ensure our submission is fully aligned with MNHHS requirements and aids MNHHS’s evaluation of tenders on a consistent and comparable basis:

1. Sampling in a single visit – For each facility, is there any restriction on how many samples can be taken at one time? For example, is it acceptable to collect all required samples for a given frequency (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annual) on the same day, or does MNHHS require these to be separated e.g. across multiple days?

2. Current sampling schedule – Beyond the facility locations and service frequencies provided in the tender attachments, is MNHHS able to share its current sampling schedule? This would assist us in aligning logistics to minimise disruption while meeting compliance requirements.

3. Pricing basis for evaluation – We note that the pricing schedule requires costs to be inclusive of delivery to site and prohibits minimum-order fees. To support price parity across submissions and ease MNHHS’s evaluation, could you please confirm whether Suppliers should:

3.1 Price on the basis that all samples due for a given frequency at a facility can be collected in a single visit, with any additional runs treated as ad-hoc quotations under the existing variation process; or

3.2 Include provision for multiple visits, for which a day-rate or run-rate may be submitted.

Our intent is to ensure our proposal is compliant, competitive, and structured in a way that both supports MNHHS’s operational needs and eases the evaluation process.

In the analytical requirements for Test set 1, HPC (Heterotrophic Plate Count) has been added. Traditionally, this was NOT analysed in test set 1. Cn you please clarify that this is now required.

With reference to your response to Question 1 in the Clarification Register 3_9, we understand that the breakdown provided — “Caboolture Hospital – 12, Caboolture Satellite Hospital – 2, Bribie Island Satellite Hospital – 2, Kilcoy – 2” — relates specifically to Test Set 1 (quarterly testing).

Could you kindly confirm the corresponding breakdown for Test Sets 2 to 5?

Hi there

Can we ask the following questions please

1. Is it expected that the cost per sample required in the price return schedule includes all costs associated with the collection analysis and reporting of the sample?

2. Please confirm that the required sample numbers in the Caboolture region Tab of the pricing schedule are intended to be for each of the 4 hospitals

(e.g for test set 1 – 18 samples for each of the 4 hospitals
