Armidale Regional Council invites quotations for the supply and delivery of a Landfill Compactor the specifications set out in Part B of the RFT Document.

The compactor and all of its equipment must comply with all the requirements of such applicable Statutory Authorities as the NSW Work Cover Authority, Roads and Maritime Services and Australian Standards. The contract is a lump sum contract and is not subject to rise and fall.

The Landfill Compactor shall be to a minimum weight of 40 tonne and minimum power of 300kw for use at our landfill facility and be supported by timely responsive field service in the event of breakdown.

Upon acceptance of quotation the equipment shall be delivered to Armidale Works Depot, 285 West Mann Street Armidale, within the number of weeks specified in the quotation document and be ready for immediate 24-hour use.

Council reserves the right to cancel the order if stated delivery time is not met.

For technical or detailed enquiries, respondents are encouraged to use the ‘Vendor Panel Forum’ available as the preferred form of communication. Council will then respond to all registered applicants who have downloaded the RFT details for full transparency.

Tenders must be lodged by 3.00 pm on Thursday 23rd April 2026 via the ARC tendering program, Vendor Panel:
