The State of Queensland (acting through) The Department of Housing and Public Works is seeking proposals from service providers to deliver specialist homelessness services to participants of the Court Link Program in Southport—a voluntary bail-based program for those going through the Criminal Justice System. Court Link supports defendants to address the underlying issues to their offending behaviour such as housing instability, substance use, mental health, general health etc.

This procurement aims to enhance housing pathways for Court Link participants, ensuring they have access to safe, stable, and appropriate housing options. By integrating specialist housing casework into the program, the initiative will strengthen participants' ability to maintain tenancies, engage in rehabilitation, and reduce their risk of reoffending.

Good afternoon,

Regarding the KPI of 60% of secure stable and long-term housing, we have been unable to identify the definition of "long-term" in the guidelines.



The only related the measure in the guidelines is OMO5, however the "long-term" is not noted here either.

Can you please provide further clarification.
