Port of Townsville Limited (the Port) currently owns a Ship-to-Shore (StS) Container Crane and a Deer Park Crane, located on Berth 3 and 4 at the Port. These cranes are leased to stevedores for use in loading and unloading ships. The Port is seeking a schedule-of-rates quotation from experienced and reliable suppliers for the provision of maintenance services for both cranes.

The general scope of services includes:

• Scheduled maintenance of the cranes broadly in line with the Mechanical and Electrical maintenance

manuals including sub-components such as spreaders

• Inspection and lubrication of wire ropes

• Crane pre-start and post-hire inspection services

• Provision of an on-call service when crane is on hire

• Provision of repair services for crane breakdown or damage

• Maintenance of spare parts inventory such as maintaining storage systems for spare parts, checking

function and assisting in ordering of spare parts if required

• Maintaining documentation around crane servicing, breakdown and operation
