We are one of the largest water distributor-retailers in Australia, supplying drinking water, recycled water and sewerage services to a population of more than 1.5 million in South East Queensland

Urban Utilities is seeking Offers from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for the provision of Fleet Management Organisation (FMO) Services.

The procurement is primarily based on a Services Only FMO model supporting Urban Utilities’ owned fleet of approximately 500 vehicles and mobile plant assets, including heavy vehicles, light commercial and passenger vehicles, mobile plant, equipment and trailers.

The scope includes fleet administration and fleet management systems, transaction and cost management, compliance administration, maintenance management and supplier coordination, Chain of Responsibility (COR) support, fleet reporting, data and analytics, and associated fleet management services.

Urban Utilities is also interested in suppliers’ insights and recommendations on alternative or emerging fleet management approaches, including leasing, hybrid ownership/leasing and other models that may support the future development of its fleet strategy.

Urban Utilities currently operates a Services Only FMO model and intends to retain ownership of its fleet assets and strategic fleet decision-making.

Offerors must demonstrate capability to deliver the applicable FMO requirements, including access to an appropriate maintenance supplier network across South East Queensland, Chain of Responsibility capability and experience with comparable fleet operations, and fleet management systems and reporting capability meeting Urban Utilities’ requirements.

Urban Utilities may consider Offers covering the complete fleet or permitted Fleet Item Categories, as further detailed in the ITO documentation.

Urban Utilities is seeking an FMO arrangement that supports:

- safe, compliant and reliable fleet operations;

- improved fleet availability and operational efficiency;

- value for money and commercial transparency; and

- improved fleet management capability through effective systems, data, reporting, specialist advice and continuous improvement.
