Question:
1. There does not seem to have quantities in the BOQ. Drawings have broad quantities (54 piles for instance). Could you please provide all quantities to price accordingly (m2 of repairs per type)

2. The contract mentions liquidated damages in case program is not met. However, it does not seem to have any targeted completion date. Please provide an indication as to when the works are intended to start and intended to be completed.

3. There is a note in the specification making reference to galvashied anodes, however, it is not clear whether or not these are required. Please confirm.

Please see below responses to your Request for Information.

1 - A Bill of Quantities has not been published as part of the Tender invitation. Refer to Part C Clause 1.6-1.9. Refer also to Part D, Appendix C, Clause 4.

2 - It is not expected that a timeframe to completion can be accurately determined at the start of the project. Target Completion Date will be determined jointly by the Principal and successful Contractor as the works are underway; as detailed condition survey efforts inform the extent of work to be completed; and as the general rate of progress is established and observed on site by the project team.

3 - Part D, Appendix C, Clause 1.1 makes reference to AS 2239. However, the Specification currently does not require that sacrificial anodes are installed as part of concrete patch repairs. If Tenderers consider this a valuable component of repair methodology, they are invited to provide an optional Rate to Design, Supply and Install anodes (say a Rate per 10 or 20 anodes), for consideration by the Principal. The provision of this optional Rate is not mandatory.
