Stanwell Corporation Limited (Stanwell) is inviting Expressions of Interest for the construction of a new Drains Reclaim Dam at Stanwell Power Station.

Please Note: Stanwell use the Zycus Supplier Network (ZSN) portal to conduct Tenders and Expressions of Interest and only uses QTenders to advertise. There are no documents to download from or upload to, QTenders. You cannot submit a Tender or Expression of Interest to Stanwell in QTenders.

If you see a message that your profile is incomplete, please click on ‘Complete profile’, then complete and submit. Stanwell Power Station – Drains Reclaim Dam Construction

Stanwell is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the construction of a new drains reclaim dam at Stanwell Power Station. This will be conducted as a two-stage tender process:

• Stage 1 – EOI: Planned issue on Monday, 1 December 2025, with a preliminary closing date of Friday, 16 January 2026. The purpose of this stage is to identify, and shortlist qualified and experienced contractors for participation in Stage 2.

• Stage 2 – Closed Tender: Shortlisted tenderers will be invited to submit firm pricing and proposals for project delivery. The successful tenderer will be selected to execute the works. While dates for Stage 2 and award are yet to be confirmed, the project completion deadline is 2027.


A brief overview of the scope of works is outlined below:


1. Excavation and Earthworks

Removal of approximately 75,400m³ of material to form a dam with a storage capacity of 55 megalitres.

2. Base Preparation and Liner Installation

Preparation of the dam base and installation of 23,830m² of HDPE liner.

3. Spillway Construction

Installation of a spillway to connect the new DRD with the existing dam.

4. Inlet Modification

Installation of an inlet to the new DRD, including cutting into existing pipelines to divert flow.

5. Pump Installation

Installation of two new pumps to return stored water to the service water system.

6. Pipeline Installation

Installation of two new pipelines extending 745 metres from the new DRD to the existing service water tanks.

7. Control and Monitoring Integration

Implementation of an integrated control and monitoring system for pump operation and water level tracking.
