The Town of Port Hedland requires the provision of pre-employment and occupational health assessment services to support the engagement and ongoing management of Employees, Contractors, Consultants and Volunteers. The services are intended to assist the Town in determining an individual's fitness for work and capacity to safely perform the inherent requirements of a role, taking into consideration any relevant medical conditions, medications and workplace risks.

The successful respondent will provide medical assessments, drug and alcohol screening, and associated reporting services as requested by the Town. These services support the Town's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and ensuring compliance with relevant workplace health and safety obligations.

Drug and alcohol screening services will support compliance with the Town's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP), with results reported in accordance with applicable standards and testing requirements.

Given the operational requirements of the Town, including remote and safety-sensitive roles, services must be delivered in a timely and efficient manner to minimise delays in recruitment, onboarding and workforce management activities.
