Could you please advise on the following:

Since the designer of the drawings also provide civil services themselves, would they be councils preferred contractor?

Moreover, if successful would there be any involvement from the designer as well, say Quality Management side of things?

The fact that the designer also provides civil construction services does not make them Council’s preferred contractor. They would still be required to participate in a fair and competitive procurement process, in line with Council’s procurement policies, and any potential conflicts of interest would be managed accordingly.



The Designer is limited to supporting design-related matters, such as clarifications or confirming design intent. Responsibility for quality management of construction would remain with the appointed contractor, with oversight by Council or its nominated contract administrator.

The attached was in the file DRWG Set_T1 released with the tender document pack.

The Tech Spec folder includes the Irrigation Spec & it refers to the design on page 6, exert below:

4 IRRIGATION DRAWINGS

The following irrigation drawings shall be referenced for the purpose of outlining to the Contractor the extent of the works which are required by the Principal and the route and approximate position and/or location of various elements of the project works.

All drawings and their associated scales have been created on ISO A1 Landscape sheet sizes only, and should be printed to 100% of their scale to ensure accuracy of detail and set-out. The irrigation drawings are not bound within this specification document.

MCRR2 02 B Irrigation Plan 1 1:400

MCRR2 03 B Irrigation Install Details 1 N.T.S

Hi, I downloaded the tender spec from the VendorPanel website, there were 15 files in the pack and they do not include the file DRWG Set_T1 or the 3 files MCRR2 01 B Legend & System Data 1 N.T.S, MCRR2 02 B Irrigation Plan 1 1:400, MCRR2 03 B Irrigation Install Details 1 N.T.S, please upload these at your earliest convenience, thanks
