Byron Shire is a local government area located in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. The shire is located adjacent to the Tasman Sea about 50 kilometres (31 mi) south of the Queensland border. The shire, administered from the town of Mullumbimby, covers an area of 566.7 square kilometres (218.8 sq mi), and has existed as a local government entity since 1906. The shire was named for Cape Byron, itself named by Captain Cook in May 1770 in honour of Vice-Admiral John Byron.

Byron Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest to Manage Ocean Shores Tennis Facility.

Byron Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced entity to manage the facility known as the Ocean Shores Tennis Courts, located in Waterlily Park, Ocean Shores and activate the site as outlined within this document and in accordance with its various objectives, policies, and plans. The venue is home to 2 synthetic tennis courts. The preference is for a not-for-profit community organisation to manage the Tennis Facility; however, Byron Shire Council invites and will consider submissions from all entities. The license period is to be negotiated, to a maximum of five years.
