QGAir requires a qualified contractor to provide scheduled cleaning and grounds maintenance services at its Horn Island facilities, comprising:

1. Hangar Administration Areas – Includes waiting room, offices, kitchenette, bathroom/toilet, and server room. The aircraft housing area does not require routine cleaning. Services include routine and periodic cleaning of floors, surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, internal glazing, and removal of waste. Ground maintenance includes lawn mowing, edging, shrub trimming, weed control, and removal of green waste in external areas around the hangar.

2. Pilot Accommodation (Unit 2/15 Nawie Street) – A single-storey duplex used by rostered pilots. Services include routine and periodic cleaning of bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and internal/external entryways. Ground maintenance includes mowing, edging, garden care, weed control, and removal of green waste in surrounding grounds.

All services must:

• Be performed in accordance with specified frequencies (weekly for cleaning, fortnightly in wet season and monthly in dry season for grounds maintenance, unless otherwise approved).

• Comply with applicable workplace health and safety (WHS) legislation, environmental requirements, and aviation operational standards.

• Include all labour, supervision, equipment, tools, cleaning agents, and consumables required to deliver the services.

Suppliers may submit offers for:

• Cleaning services only

• Ground maintenance services only

• Both services as an integrated solution

QGAir may award services to a single integrated supplier or separate suppliers for cleaning and grounds maintenance, depending on operational suitability and value for money.
