Kempsey Shire is located on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, which boasts around 15,000 hectares of national parks and 79 kilometres of pristine coastline, supporting an amazing variety of plants and wildlife. Situated on the banks of the Macleay river is our main town, Kempsey. This is a thriving regional centre with a rich indigenous heritage and has the largest residential population in the shire. It is home to key services and resources for our Shire and to Council’s headquarters.

Council seeks to engage an appropriately qualified and experienced contractor to provide high-pressure hard-surface cleaning and wastewater capture services across nominated CBD footpaths, bin enclosures and the Horseshoe Bay picnic shelter. The proposed contract term is 3 years, with two optional 1-year extensions.

Maintain the appearance, cleanliness and safe use of Council CBD public areas while minimising disruption to local businesses, pedestrians, vehicles and community activities. Services are to be delivered mainly outside normal business operating hours.
