The RFS has confirmed that Monday the 19th at 1pm is available for inspection.

Question:
• What is to be done with the excavated materials from slab prep and reshaping of the existing batter? Can it be used/lost on site by filling hollows or possibly extending the laydown area or must it be removed from site?

Excess material can be lost onsite with the following conditions:

• The location must be confirmed onsite with the project manager prior to placement

• Appropriate compaction and rehabilitation must occur

• All fill must be lost within the property boundaries, and cannot extend onto private property.

It is important to note, as per the contact documents: Demolition & Disposal of existing cesspit toilet and ‘contaminated material’ buffer being an additional 1m offset to perimeter of existing chamber as per attachment 005. Note, the contents are to be pumped out by a specialist waste removalist.
