2. In regard to the 'deep clean carpets' - are you requesting a steam clean/wet carpet clean?

Thank you for your queries. Please see responses below:

1. The intention is to have Windows up to the height of 2400mm are to be cleaned in line with the RFQ. The Council office currently has windows that are taller than 2400mm that are on the eastern side of the Council Chambers and meeting room, these taller sections will be cleaned under separate arrangement bi annually.

2. The deep clean refers to a more thorough clean of the carpets and hard service flooring than the standard vacuuming. This may included spot cleaning of problem areas or stains etc. The steam cleaning or dry cleaning of services particularly carpets will be under separate arrangement bi annually.

3. There are storage areas available at the Visitor Information Centre, Council Office building and the Library buildings.

Thank you for your query.

While a firm contract starting date has not been established, at this point it would be foreseen that a contract for the buildings would commence early to mid-January 2026, and pending responses received, the public toilets would be planned for July 1, 2026.
