As per RFQ Council requests intended Suppliers to attend the site inspection meeting on Thursday 17th September at 9am for quoting & scope purposes.

1) The closing date is listed as the 10th of september, the tender meeting isn't until the 17th of September. can the actual closing date be updated.

2) Are there any drawings or scope of works documents that can be supplied with this tender request?

1) The closing date has been amended to 02nd October

2) As per the RFQ for scoping & quotation purposes, suppliers are requested to attend Site Inspection on Thursday 17th September at 9am.

Please also be reminded that for Quotations to be accepted an approved site visit is required.

Due to the geographical location of the site and the distances some tenderers will need to travel to provide a quotation, could Council please provide a brief breakdown of the works and repairs required?

This information would assist tenderers in determining whether the proposed works fall within their scope of services and whether they are in a position to provide a quotation prior to making the necessary arrangements to attend the site meeting.

Due to the nature of the structural damage to the Rest Area Structure, we require the tenderers to visit site to determine the full scope of works. Site visit is mandatory for quotations to be accepted.

Question:
Hi,

We are interested in submitting an offer for RFQ260208. We have reviewed the nominated structure and surrounding site using the current Google Maps/Street View imagery and are comfortable assessing and pricing the works based on the information visible.

As we are located a considerable distance from the site, could Council please confirm whether it would accept a quotation prepared from our remote assessment of the structure, without attending the physical site inspection?

We acknowledge that any such quotation would be submitted at our own risk based on the information available to us.

Alternatively, if a physical inspection remains mandatory, could Council please confirm whether an authorised representative may attend on our behalf?

Due to all suppliers being required to meet the same standard a site visit is mandatory. You are able to send an authorised representative in your place.
