CQUniversity Australia (CQU) is seeking to engage a suitably experienced contractor for replacement of linoleum flooring in nine (9) rooms in Building 34 at our Rockhampton North campus.

The rooms are used as clinical teaching spaces (4) and associated storage rooms (5). The existing floor is approximately 13 years old and comprises Forbo marmoleum with a Forbo Corkmet 1200 acoustic underlay. The floor is in poor condition with areas of significant damage caused by furniture movement, rendering it no longer fit for purpose. As the rooms are used for lectures and clinical practice throughout the academic year, the replacement works must be completed strictly between 24 November 2025 and 27 February 2026, noting that no work can be undertaken during CQU’s Christmas closure period from 24 December 2025 to 1 January 2026. Additionally, no work can be undertaken in the week of 12-16 January 2026.
