What the buyer is requesting
Details
Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to deliver the supply (hire only), installation and dismantling of Christmas decorations and lighting across various locations within the Woollahra LGA including Council Chambers and multiple sites in Double Bay, Paddington, Woollahra, Rose Bay, Vaucluse, Watsons Bay and Bellevue Hill. The contract spans for four consecutive Christmas seasons (2026/2027, 2027/2028, 2028/2029 and 2029/2030), with the objective of delivering high-quality, cohesive and visually appealing festive displays in accordance with Council’s specifications.

All interested tenderers will be required to register on www.vendorpanel.com.au prior to downloading the tender documents.

Tender submissions must be uploaded on Vendor Panel by 3:00pm on Friday, 10 July 2026.

Good Afternoon,

Has the council ever looked at purchasing product for the 4 years, with a fixed buy back system post the period to increase sustainability within the industry?

(Storage could be included within the period as well if that was an issue for council.)

has the council a storage facility that can be used, or do we need to provide storage?

Thank you for your enquiry. Council is seeking contractors to supply Christmas decorations and lighting on a hire basis only. Accordingly, no storage is required, and no items are to be stored on Council premises. If any temporary storage is required during the hire period, this will be the sole responsibility of the contractor.

Thank you for your enquiry. Council does not disclose the allocated budget for this tender. The purpose of the tender process is to obtain competitive submissions from suitably qualified contractors and to ensure value for money for Council. Tenderers are encouraged to submit their best possible proposal in accordance with the requirements outlined in the tender documentation.

are all the wreaths expected to be lit up? or just decorated?

Thank you for your enquiry. Wreaths are not required to be illuminated. Where lighting is required, the relevant locations, specifications, and power requirements are detailed in the tender documentation.
