Question:
Good morning,

Regarding the insurances, I notice the amount of professional indemnity insurance is: $ 10 million

Our Insurance is $5,000,000 any one claim and $10,000,000 in the aggregate. Does it disqualify us automatically?

Answered on 15/May/2025 12:34 PM:

Good afternoon,

The Department welcomes your offer and requests that you advise the Insurance amounts held by your organisation within your submission.

Kind regards,

Ainslee

Question:
Good morning,

I was wondering if you could please clarify a scope item in Section 2.2 of Attachment 4. There is a bullet point that states "Additional drilling of 15m to 20m is recommended to confirm rock depth in borehole 1 (one).". The Douglas Partners report shows Borehole 1 being terminated at 11.95m. When you ask for additional drilling of 15 - 20m, does that mean 15 - 20m from the ground surface, or 15 - 20m from the termination depth of Borehole 1, 26.95 - 31.95 m from ground surface?

Answered on 21/May/2025 11:38 AM:

Good morning,

Additional drilling of 15m to 20m from the ground surface is recommended.

Kind regards,

Ainslee

Question:
Good morning,

I was wondering if you could please clarify a scope item in Section 2.2 of Attachment 4. There is a bullet point that states "Pavement Design Parameters are required. Carry out three (3) CBR tests(s) to AS 1289.6.1.1 in the locations indicated on.". I have looked through the attached documents and cannot find an indication of where the CBR samples are to be collected from. If they are to be collected from locations outside of the two (2) proposed boreholes this will change our fee estimate.

Answered on 21/May/2025 11:39 AM:

Good morning,

In your submission, please highlight the additional fee if the CBR tests(s) to AS 1289.6.1 require collection outside of the (2) proposed boreholes.

Kind regards,

Ainslee

Question:
Hi, in the pricing section, it asks for day rate, all costs associated with field work, which will generally include the engineer, drilling rig rate, underground service scan rate and laboratory testing. However, the engineer and drilling metre rates have been asked separately as well.

Can you please confirm if we need to consider the engineer rate and drilling m rate in the day rate total costs or not? Additionally, the quantity mentioned is 1, so should we provide a lump sum field work cost, or is it per day cost?

Thank you.

Answered on 23/May/2025 08:59 AM:

Good morning,

Please add the engineer rate and drilling m rate in the day rate total costs if applicable.

Please identify the number of days in the quantity column and include the lump sum field work cost in the pricing table.

Kind regards,

Ainslee
