Details
Scenic Rim Regional Council invites Tenders from metal recycling contractors to purchase ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including lead acid batteries, collected from stockpiles, and contractor supplied bins, at Council's waste facilities and depots in the Scenic Rim Region.
The Tender is for a three (3) year period from February 2026 to 31 January 2029, with three (3), one (1) year options to extend to 31 January 2032.

2.2.8 Refers to Fire Extinguishers do you require cages for both LPG and Fire Extinguishers?

Council would like to have a storage container for both Fire Extinguishers and LPG Bottles. Council is happy to consider alternative storage options dependant on the collection methodology outlined by the contractor.

It appears that some tenderers are having trouble with the Part D Response Schedules with some tabs being unable to enter responses. I have uploaded an addendum file of another version of the document for those that need it. The only change on this document is the cells reported on tabs 5/6/7/8 have been unprotected and reprotected to allow data to be entered for those that are having difficulties. If this causes any issues, please let me know.

Council has considered a request for an additional week extension for the Tender and will allow a revision of the closing date to 27/5/2026 at 2:00PM. The closing time of the Tender will be updated to reflect this change.
