Question:
Hi Team,

I have a couple of questions please.

1. Can Council clarify whether the qualifications listed under Clause 2.4 are mandatory for all personnel performing the cleaning and water quality monitoring services, or only for personnel undertaking supervisory responsibilities associated with public aquatic safety?

2. Water Testing Requirements

Can Council confirm whether the specified two-hourly water testing requirement requires manual testing by onsite personnel at each interval, or whether readings obtained through existing automated monitoring and dosing systems are acceptable for compliance purposes?

If automated systems are installed, can Council also confirm the level of manual verification, recording and onsite attendance expected from the contractor?

Answered on 11/Jun/2026 02:51 PM:

Hi,

1. Qualifications listed under Clause 2.4 only relate to personnel undertaking supervisory responsibilities.

2. Onsite manual testing should be carried out at each interval, using the automated monitoring results as a baseline for verification.
