The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Block P Amenities refurbishment at Gladstone SHS, located at 30 Dawson Hwy, Gladstone Central QLD 4680, as part of the Direct (DIRECT) program.

The works include new screening, flooring, toilet partitions as well as new fixtures and fittings to the existing male and female amenities. The position of the building is in the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by the end of January 2026

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1.0 M

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
