Details

Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) invites proposals from suitably qualified data suppliers to

deliver international visitor transaction data (from credit and debit cards) within Queensland and

Australia.

Background information / Compatibility requirements

Details

The supplier is required to deliver estimates of international traveller spending using card transaction

and banking data.

An international traveller is defined as any visitor to Australia intending to stay for a period of less than

12 months.

The coverage of the spending data includes the following international source markets: Canada,

China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore,

South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam.

The data required includes the following indicators in Queensland, with segmentation by

international source market:

? Total spend

? Estimated number of visitors

? Number of transactions

? Spend per visitor

? Spend by expenditure category

? Region (State, Tourism Region, and if available SA2)

? Data frequency (daily, weekly or monthly)

? Customer demographic data

Desired Outcomes ('Nice to haves', Conditions & Warranties, SLA's, Project benefits)

Details

Proposals are to include separate cost options for data provided at a daily/monthly frequency

and geographic breakdowns (e.g. by tourism region, and/or local government area (LGA), and/or

by statistical area level, up to the SA2 level).

The Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the expectations that government has of businesses that want to sell their goods or services to the government, and outlines what constitutes a responsible supplier.
Compliance with the Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct is a mandatory requirement of this ITO Process.
Your organisation warrants adherence to the Queensland Government Supplier Code of Conduct.

For the next 6 questions, Suppliers are required to demonstrate that they have the financial capability to provide all the requirements over the term of the Contract. Short-listed Suppliers may be asked to provide further financial information if required. Are there any significant events, matters or circumstances which have arisen within the past 12 months that could significantly affect the operations of the Supplier? If yes, please give details.

Small – a business employing less than 20 people.

Medium – a business employing 20 or more people, but less than 200 people.

Note: people are both employees and contractors employed by the Supplier.
