Local Buy develops and manages a Register of Pre-Qualified Supplier (RPQS) Arrangements to cater for a diverse range of goods and services on behalf of Local Government. Local Buy helps council procurement meet legislative, reputation, and compliance needs, simplifying the process by connecting councils to pre-qualified suppliers, big and small.

Our arrangements are trusted and used by a wide range of Local Councils in Queensland and around Australia. Our arrangements are also accessible by a variety of other organisations including Universities, State Government, and Utilities.

Local Buy has 52 arrangements under five broad portfolios: Fleet, Civil Works, ICT, Consultancy, Corporate Equipment, Corporate Services and Industrial Commodities.

The buyer has elected to have their personal and contact details hidden. These details will be revealed at the buyers discretion.

Becoming a Local Buy supplier is a great way to sell more goods and services to local councils. Each year over $800m in spend goes through Local Buy’s Arrangements.

This Tender request is for appointment to a Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers to the Local Governments of Queensland, Tasmania and Northern Territory, and other approved purchasers for the supply of:

Our Arrangements open every 3 months on the 1st of the month; Feb; May; Aug; and Nov to new suppliers or existing suppliers looking to be appointed to a new Arrangement or new categories within an Arrangement.

To become a Local Buy pre-qualified supplier, you need to be successful in responding to a Local Buy tender for an Arrangement.
