We note the service commencement date of 1st July 2026 and wonder if Council would consider submissions that propose an alternative commencement date?

This clarification would assist in determining whether proponents can propose solutions that optimise long-term operational efficiency, capacity, and scalability, particularly in the context of potential future kerbside service expansion.

Council's existing green waste agreement is due to terminate on 30 June 2026. Council is wishing to have in place a new agreement from 1 July to ensure continuity of service provision. It is anticipated with current levels and deliveries that Tamborine Mountain will require servicing in July. The other sites would be looking at mid to late August at this stage. Council could consider an alternative commencement date, depending on submission. If doing so, please detail service delivery abilities as thoroughly as possible.

Council has received the following request:-

Council requests a single Per Cubic Metre Service Rate for all sites as listed under Section 1: Mulching and Removal Services.

Tendering Parties are welcome to submit alternative pricing utilising the grey lines under Section 1 to propose an alternative pricing for all or some of the sites. If alternative pricing is applied, please ensure that Council can determine the rates applicable for each site in the alternative methodology.

If you would like to present a different methodology for Disaster Waste, can you please outline your pricing proposal in the grey lines under Section 1. Please leave the Per Cubic Metre Rate Blank for Disaster Green Waste.

Council would like to receive a price for shearing at an hourly rate. This is a service that is sometimes required at Central Landfill. Council has updated the Pricing Schedule to include this line item. If you would like to propose any other services for consideration, please add this in the Section 2 Service Charges and Operational Conditions in the grey lines. The Unit of Measure can be customised to reflect your service.

Can council please provide an updated pricing spreadsheet to show changes.



As above the Pricing Schedule has been updated to accommodate a price for shearing. The existing Schedule should be able to accommodate the remainder of your requests. If you have difficulty entering any of the above, please let me know.

As these changes are quite late in the response time, Council has decided to extend the response period by a week, with a new closing date of 23 June 2026.

Council is seeking a mulch and removal service. Council is not specifying a delivery location. Council does not have a third party arrangement for further processing of material. Tenderers are responsible for arranging and managing appropriate disposal locations to be outlined in their methodology. In the scenario above, Tenderers would be engaged by Council to mulch and remove material. Tenderers may have their own separate agreement to deliver material to a third party for further processing.
