I have a question about this as to whether we are required to pay rates or levies for these grazing blocks, and if so, what are the rates and levies or any other expenses going to be annually?
The successful Tenderer will be responsible for:
d) paying applicable rates and charges levied by Rockhampton Regional Council in its capacity as the Local Government Authority.

1. How much is the rates on this parcel of land
2. How long is the tender for 1year or 5 yr
3 does the successful winner of the tender have to install infrastructure such as fences, yards, water
4 and do we need public liability insurance

Council is unable to disclose the specific rates or levies that may apply to the grazing blocks. These costs depend on a range of factors, including the successful Tenderer’s business structure and how the property is ultimately used and assessed.
The lease can be a maximum of 3 years.
Fencing, water and maintenance will be the responsibility of the successful tenant.
Public liability insurance is a requirement.
