Good afternoon,
The first part of this question has already been responded to previously. Please advise if this information is needed again.
Regarding AR DD 2.90 - GCHHS advise yes that is correct. If the staffroom scope is awarded the idea is to use the same specification of door from stage 1 which is in the new doors section

Good morning
Please see responses below:
1. Are there any preferred or incumbent contractors for the building? Such as the BMS contractor or service contractors.
Read page 6 of ‘ 24038_AR.DD.90.01 Finishes, FFE and Furniture [T1]’
2. Building approval by client or builder.
Client.
3. Is builder's responsibility to engage the current architectural and service designer to complete the design development for construction? Or the client will engage them directly. Including hydraulic service drawings.
GCHHS has the Principal Consultant (Archipelago) engaged for the construction stage to issue for-construction drawings and respond to any RFIs.
Please clarify which hydraulic service drawings are required? One existing handwash basin is to be removed and capped in the storage room (Stage 1 Scope) . The staffroom (stage 2) sink is designed to remain in the same location.
4. Will you accept alternative group 1 workstations and loose furniture?
If alternative workstation specification meets the same requirements as specified, then GCHHS don’t have an issue with alternatives should there be a significant cost saving. GCHHS would request the product information be submitted for review before accepting any alternatives, including warranty information.
5. Working hours. Can we do noisy works in normal hours? or must be in after hours.
Yes, all works submitted to the principal via the NIA process. Refer to the ‘Permits to Works’ section of the PPR document.
6. Could you please provide the base building fitout guide for reference if available?
No Base build fit out guide available.

Question
:
Good morning,
I have sent an email to GCHHS.AMS.CMW@health.qld.gov.au with attention to Sue Bassett as our RFI requires screenshots.
Please advise if there is an alternate email address to send these through to.
Thanks in advance.

Good morning,
Please see responses below:
1. Please confirm details for SHV002 – Custom plant shelf / privacy screen item. There are 3 off noted on tab 19-FF&E of the Pricing Schedule (see capture below) but no description found in the Finishes, FFE and Furniture Schedule for Stage 1-Refurbishment.
Answer - Do not price, this was removed from scope.
2. There is a conflicting description of WST160a on tab 19-FF&E of the Pricing Schedule and the Finishes, FFE and Furniture Schedule (see captures below) for Stage 1-Refurbishment. Can you please confirm which one is correct?
Answer: Remove code S.J as this is supposed to resemble WST002a and WST002b which are missing. Please use updated pricing schedule in Addendum 1 which reflects this update.
Kind Regards
GCHHS

Question
:
Can you please confirm that only Stage 1 is in scope of works and stage 2(Staff room refurbishment) will not be in scope.
Can you also confirm if the incumbent ( for GCHHS Projects)

Answered on 25/Feb/2026 05:57 AM
:
Good morning,
Stage 1 forms the main scope of works, and Stage 2 is not included in the current scope. Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) has requested that contractors provide a separate cost for the staffroom scope, which was originally part of Stage 2. Please refer to the documents posted on Vendor Panel.
Read page 6 of ‘ 24038_AR.DD.90.01 Finishes, FFE and Furniture [T1) for incumbent vendors

Question
:
Hi,
The provided pricing schedule which contains Bill of Quants states that we should allow to replace 30% of existing ceiling tiles. This is not noted on the drawings anywhere, can you confirm if this is still a requirement for us to include within our pricing ?
Many thanks
Answered on 25/Feb/2026 09:27 AM
:
Good morning,
Please see response below:
The contractor should allow for the replacement of ceiling tiles as required, including any tiles damaged during the renovation works and those requiring replacement due to wall realignment, etc.
We have allowed approximately 30% in our cost plan; however, as the exact extent is not yet known, we cannot nominate a specific area. It would be preferable for them to include an allowance based on their own assessment, experience with similar projects, and their understanding of the scope involved.

GCHHS

Question
:
Could you please confirm the nurse call scope as outlined in the Pricing_Schedule_Stage_1–Refurbishment document under the “18 – Communications & Security” tab? Specifically, it notes a request to relocate four (4) nurse call points and overdoor lights.
For clarity,
•
R.J – Nurse Call
•
R.K – Relocate nurse call push buttons (Qty: 4)
•
R.L – Relocate nurse call indicator lights (Qty: 4)
Could you also please confirm the existing nurse call system brand currently installed?
Answered on 25/Feb/2026 12:03 PM
:
Good afternoon,
Correct, refer to electrical document ‘A-E-300_ACMHS - Security and Nurse Call Layout - Stage 1 [T1]’
Contact incumbent security contractor ‘Securecom’ for specifications/ quote.
