Can you please clarify whether there will be a separate commissioning process to procure Equipping Kin, Supporting Kin and Supporting Foster Care services from Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisations (ATSICCOs) in the Tablelands region?

Hi there,

i have 2 questions concerning this tender:

1. This refers to criterion 4 - cultural capabilities. Refers to how the service model will include the Cape York catchment area and in criterion 5 it asks how the service will deliver services across the Cape York catchment area. The RFQ highlights the catchment is SA2 and 'service delivery is required to be responsive to the needs of children where their family live', however it also says that 'assessments for family who reside outside of catchment will be by negotiation and agreement of services'. To ensure that our response to this criterion is culturally considerate and an accurate budget can be devised to ensure quality services can be delivered to all locations, can it please clarified what the expectation would be to service the Cape York catchment?

2. Is there an expectation that the successful service will use SRS (infoxchange) for record keeping and data management and will this be supplied?

I would just like to confirm if Chillagoe and Julatten are included in the service areas for SA2 as these areas are not listed in the RFQ?

Alternatively, the response is:

Chillagoe and Julatten are included in the service areas. Both localities are within the Statistical Area Level 2 (SA2) Tablelands.
