The Mayor and councillors work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and staff to deliver a range of plans and strategies that guide the delivery of major projects across the region, and council’s capital works program. Tenders are invited for the construction of a new pathway at Eudlo.

Council is seeking the services of experienced Contractors to undertake the works which include, but are not limited to:

• Construction of a new pedestrian bridge with a 10m span

• Construction of Wooden Boardwalk; and

• Concrete footpath connections and hard landscaping

Council will consider Alternative Tenders when accompanied by a Conforming Tender. Under an Alternate Tender, Respondents may propose alternate substructure or superstructure elements, however significant variations to the bridge layout or geometry will not be considered.

This is a lump sum construction contract, with Council seeking to engage one Contractor to undertake the entire construction program of works. The successful Contractor will be required to provide all materials, plant and labour, and to perform all necessary operations of whatever kind, to ensure the completion of works associated with this Contract.

Respondents are encouraged to visit the publicly accessible site to familiarise themselves with the conditions, access points and surroundings when conducting due diligence and preparing submissions.

This project is expected to be finalised prior to end of March 2027, weather permitting.
