The Shire of Winton is a local government area in Central West Queensland, Australia. It covers an area of 62,000.7 square kilometres (23,938.6 sq mi), and has existed as a local government entity since 1887. Its administrative centre is located in the town of Winton. It is named after Winton, Dorset, England, the birthplace of Robert Allen, the first white settler in the Winton (Queensland) area.

Winton Shire Council (WSC) is undertaking progressive upgrade works along Winton–Jundah Road as part of the Roads of Strategic Importance (ROSI) funded Winton–Jundah Road Project.

Council requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake road stabilisation works for 8 floodway along Winton–Jundah Road between approximately Ch 71,178 and Ch 78,436.

The purpose of this Contract is to complete the specified stabilisation works associated activities to support the progressive upgrade of Winton–Jundah Road.

The Contract will be administered by Winton Shire Council as Principal under the form of contract identified in the tender documentation. The required completion period is to be confirmed in the Contract.
