Thanks

Question:
Can you please confirm that it is the following -

A - Full rescrew with a larger guage screw.

B - Replacement of 48lm of gutter.

C - Replacement of existing decktites & water penetrations.

D - Full replacement of existing Solar Hot water unit.

There mentions about a compliance - Compliance:On completion of the roof replacement, including tie-down upgrade, you will need to provide the following documentation to QBuild: -Form 21 from a QBCC licensed building surveyor stating the works have been engineered and constructed to meet the Building Code of Australia (BCA).

No sheets will be removed so no tie down upgrade or roof replacement is occurring. is this correct ??

Question:
Please confirm the removal and replacement of the Solar HWU is no longer required.

Please confirm if the existing system is remaining on the roof - will the screws under the unit require replacing - will the existing unit need removing and reinstating?

Thanks in advance.

Answered on 19/Nov/2025 11:57 AM:

Good morning,

Please allow for removing and reinstating the SHWU so you can replace screws under the SHWU.

Kind Regards,

Megan Sweeper
