Information requested by others
13/Oct/2026 03:21 PM
Question
:
Can submissions include similar play equipment from a different supplier?
Answered on 13/Oct/2026 03:45 PM
:
Yes, alternative suppliers are acceptable, provided the equipment meets Australian Standards and the specified features
14/Oct/2026 12:24 PM
Question
:
Can you please confirm if the equipment needs to be the exact equipment specified or if similar alternate manufacturers equipment is allowed?
Lead time - With equipment taking 12 weeks to be manufactured, plus factories shutting down for a few weeks over Christmas, the equipment wouldn't be manufactured until mid March. I believe the proposed completion date is going to be unachievable, will council review their intended completion date?
Answered on 14/Oct/2026 12:49 PM
:
1) Yes, alternative suppliers are acceptable, provided the equipment complies with relevant Australian Standards and incorporates all specified features.
2) The practical completion timeframe may be extended to accommodate manufacturing, delivery, and installation lead times. Respondents are therefore requested not to be strictly bound by the nominated practical completion date and should instead provide a tentative project delivery program with their submission.
