What the buyer is requesting
Details
The concept and detailed design of the Woorabinda Water Supply Improvement Project (WWSIP- Water Treatment Plant (WTP)) is required to ensure a fit for purpose long term solution for the upgrade of the Woorabinda Water Treatment Plant and associated infrastructure to meet current and future water quality standards and water demand for the Woorabinda community. The current infrastructure is aged and in poor condition with a large number of equipment failures being experienced over recent years. This has resulted in insufficient monitoring of water quality and inconsistent water quality.
The successful Consultant will develop:
• The concept design (including a process review and optimisation of water treatment) for the upgraded water infrastructure at the Woorabinda WTP.
• The detailed design of the determined concept design for the WTP will be completed and the technical specifications for the construction of the upgraded WTP will be developed
These services cannot be done in-house and require procurement due to the special skillsets required.
