Dear Valued Suppliers

Southern Downs Regional Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for design of an upgrade of Southern Downs Truck Wash Facility located at Warwick Saleyards in McEvoy Street, Warwick.
Background information / Compatibility requirements
Details
The existing Southern Downs Truck Wash Facility is located at the Warwick Saleyards in McEvoy St Warwick. Queensland.

This existing Truck Wash Facility provides an important service to the local community and the haulage industry that relies on and uses these facilities on a very regular basis as it is the only publicly available truck wash facility within the region.

As this truck wash effluent is now discharged into the local sewerage network it has now been classified as a “trade waste’’ and is required to be processed accordingly, which has resulted in the need to consider pre-treatment options to reduce this trade waste effluent concentration to equivalent residential sewer effluent loading limits prior to being discharged into Council’s sewer network.

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your response.

Kind regards,

Wengielyn Horca
