Details
The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the renovation QIMR Berghofer's Bancroft Building, Level 6 staff common area. This project requires full end to end project management, including the design, against a provided concept, the supply of all required materials and prefabricated cabinets, the provision of all required construction and the management of all supporting services to deliver the requirements to Australian Standards.

**Please Note: Participation in a site tour and inspection is mandatory and will be held on Wednesday 26th February 2023, at 10 am. Please sign in at reception, QIMR Berghofer Central Building, 300 Herston Rd, Brisbane, Gavin Payne (Building Services & Facilities Manager) and Jonathan Davies GM Properties & Facilities will meet you there.

Details
Services required include but are not limited to:

• Completion of all work in accordance with an approved Staging Plan and Construction Program.

• The contractor’s Staging Plan and proposed Construction Program are to include all proposed staging and

durations with confirmed completion dates.

• The order of work is the responsibility of the Contractor, with approvals from the customer, as this is a “live” site.

• These dates shall be included in the executed Conditions of Contract.

The contract work does not include Separable Portions.

Question:
The scope says ‘Refer A41-02 for extent of ceiling demolition and new works’ but I can’t seem to find that drawing - has it been uploaded to Vendor Panel?

The renders also show finishes, but there aren’t any proposed suppliers / specifications nominated, it just shows a picture. Are there any finishes schedules that confirm what the selection were based on?

There also aren’t any plans that show a dimension to be able to quantify areas. Is a plan with a couple of dimensions available?

I have uploaded the drawings A41-02 they will available now, thank you for the heads up.

There are no finishes schedules available; this would need to be part of the design for construction process.

I'm checking to see whether we have some dimensional plans and will upload them if we have them.

Hi

Can more detail please be provided on joinery types? The current drawings provided have no material types/dimensions and feedback thus far is that there isn't enough detail to form any view in terms of scope. The concept drawings also show circular structures handing from the ceiling - what are these and again could these alter existing services design?

Hi Joel,

The joinery types and materials are discretionary, you are able to provide your own material choice, please specify and provide warranty details on the product. The only requirement is that it's fit for purpose. Please disregard the baffles hanging from the ceiling they are out of scope for the project.
